For as long as I can remember, I've loved photography. As a child, I used my grandmother's camera to capture memories- even the mundane seemed magical through the lens. I took a few classes in high school, where I learned the technicality of the art, explored darkroom processing, and learned about composition and subject matter. I knew photography was more than a hobby, that it would be my career. I double majored in Photography and Advertising at Purdue University, where I was extremely fortunate to learn medium and large format photography, master darkroom processing, and really started to develop a sense of who I am as an artist. And then I had my daughter. She changed my life and gave my career a direction and a kickstart. My little lady is my muse, my test subject, and the key to my growth as an artist and business owner. I'm sure this is why I am so passionate about capturing other children, families, and couples. Love is magical and so are the memories it creates. Thank you for trusting me with your magic!
